Error 105 and ISSET_SE VR Milling Ver 2 installation

Customer writes .......
When trying to install the software I got the following error messages one after the other – do you know what this means or can you help?

Error 105 Setup is unable to run an intermediate file needed to proceed with the installation.
Setup.exe launches the installation program after copying it to the hard disk. You'll see Error 105 when Setup.exe cannot launch the installation program from the hard disk. This message appears only rarely.
Make sure that you are running a normal installation of windows. If you need to contact Technical Support, please give us complete information on your environment and on any special configurations you've defined.
Also...... Googling ISSET_SE gives
When trying to load certain cd's, the following error message appears.
'ISSET_SE caused a general protection fault in module SETUP.exe at 0001:00003540.'
Can anyone tell me what this means and how to cure the problem?
Just disable your virus scanner and try again.
