setting X for internal threading and boring

Hi All
We use a newturn 270 and VR turning v 1.22..... how do I set 'X' for internal threading and boring????

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile

Setting the offset is just the same as for external diameters...
You'll have to drill the bore first with at least a 10mm drill (or use tube)
Then manually run the boring bar down the hole, pull out keeping X at the same height
Measure the internal diameter with verniers for example, and set the tool offset to the diameter reading (eg 18.678mm)
