Screened cable grounding - how to?

Post by Egon » Sun 12 Jan , 2014 21:35 pm

Hi, i am completing a mach3 conversion on an easiturn. All is going well and pretty self explanatory except the screened cable grounding.

What is the best way of doing it? I know to ground only at one end (the electronics cabinet end) but ground to where? The chasis? Or the Gnd on the 12v power supply i have in the electronics cabinet?

Please advise on best practice for this.

Thanks in advance

Egon
