Hi, I'm still here...
Ok, the machine works and I have already done some work but when I turn off and turn on does not keep in memory the tool and I have to reset with M27 (RESET CAROUSEL TO POCKET ONE).
The problem was there before the break of Baldor card.
Any ideas?
Thanks again.

I'm not 100% sure that the DOS software stores the carousel position...
If it did, then it will probably in the none-volotile memory of the Baldor control board (like it is now, on the modern machines)
So that would suggest the battery has also failed on the new board - I'd try replacing it again.
If you don't want to try that then maybe you can get into the habit of calling tool 1 before powering off everytime :?

On some of the machines we used to fit a dongle to the printer port on the control pc which saved the tool position.

Hardware/Software: Hi,

I have faulty baldor D281 motion control card for a triac P. C. (denford). The firmware is ESMINT 3.28 V1.6H/S - JD5. We would like to purchase this card, is it still available? Please let me know as soon as possible, I need it urgently for students' semester projects.

Thank you.

David,

If you're still looking, I've just removed a complete rack from a 1994 Triac VMC.
The board has a red 7-segment display and the chip has ESMINT/3.28V1.6G B1/S-JD3 on it, however from what I gather you can just change the chip.
I have no idea if it works, but it was powering up before I removed it.
Everything is listed in the classifieds - http://denfordata.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=5221

However, we cannot test it here (so can't guarantee it is working) but it came from a working machine a few years ago.

Cost is £150 GBP + £5 airmail postage
Delivery by UPS will be more like £40GBP

You can pay via paypal from the donate button on here.
