Senior 200 OT error 410 SERVO ALARM X AXIS EXCESS ERROR

Post by celad2001 » Tue 22 May , 2007 14:42 pm

FROM HELP WITH ERRORS NEEDED PLEASE THREAD THAT WAS CONFUSING..

SENIOR 200 FANUC OT
410 SERVO ALARM X AXIS EXCESS ERROR

The Senior sounds a bit like you may have a value in parameters 555 that is causing the motor to jump. Try setting 555 & 556 to 0

I think I might have found the param - 517

if this is set to 0 then loop gain is set for x y etc (presumably on the servos page) so.... I reckon this should be set to around 3000 or 0, maybe some oik has set it to 1

OK TRIED THAT IT WAS SET TO 3000, I TRIED 0 STILL THE SAME..

AS FAR AS I KNOW THIS ONE HAS NOT BEEN FIDDLED WITH..

COULD THIS BE A MECHANICAL PROBLEM THESE MACHINES HAVE NOT BEEN USED FOR SOME TIME
REGARDS..ALEC

When is the error displayed?
Does the X axis motor do a small jump when the control is powered up?

Just been to check on Parameter Numbers.
The collision parameters are 544 & 545. They need to be set to 0.
Sometimes large values are added by the control which causes the motor to turn on power up, thus displaying a position error.
