According to the manual I have, I should grease the headstock bearings every 6 months, and the diagram points to greasers for the front spindle bearings and the layshaft bearings. I have found these greasers. There is no mention of a greaser for the rear spindle bearing, and anyway I can't find a greaser for it. How is this lubricated?
I want to be able to cut imperial threads, and have the layout drawing of the translation train. Before I start cutting the gears I need, yes I know they are 16DP 20 deg PA, but are the changewheels cast iron or steel? For the size of lathe, I would have thought 16DP of that width would be a bit fragile in cast iron.

I think the front spindle bearing is taper roller and the rear is a ball bearing. The ball bearing is probably sealed and requires no greasing.
