can anyone tell me the x slide and top slide thread sizes on a tds1

If it's an imperial machine, it's most likely 1/2" x 5tpi LEFT HAND square-section thread.

Measure the OD of the screw, then an easy way to tell the pitch is look at the graduations on the dials. If they read to 200, it's 5tpi. There might be a drawing on this site somewhere which will tell you exactly.
