Is our Versalaser fixable?

Post by Angiei » Mon 17 Dec , 2012 13:51 pm

Hi,

I now realise the importance of not walking away from a running laser cutter as I came back to find ours on fire. The lid on our VL200 is now very damaged and the x-axis belt has burnt and is now far too loose. Does anyone know if these can be replaced?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It's easily done.

We can supply a replacement belt & lid.

If you speak to Graham Bradley at Denfords he should be able to give you a price.

Are you sure there is no further damage. The air assisit pipe runs in the chanel below the belt & can also melt.

Thanks for the info, that is reassuring news. I'll check the rest of the machine though and get in touch.
