1. Versa Laser is just like a printer and requires printer drivers for the VL200/300

2. In Techsoft

BLACK LINES :- RASTER CUTTING
BLUE LINES :- VECTOR LINE CUT INTO SURFACE
RED LINES :- CUT ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE MATERIAL

To change line characteristics
Single click the line, select the COLOUR button from the top menu bar and alter the colour accordingly.

If the Coloured lines drawn in Techsoft are Black when opened up in the Versa Laser software then the wrong Line or Colour settings in Techsoft have been selected.

From the top menu bar in Techsoft select LINE, select the SOLID line and then activate the FINE radio button. For the COLOUR select COL from the top menu bar and then select the BLACK, BLUE and RED colours you require from the CUSTOM COLOUR section.

3. Set the printer to default to the laser printer driver
4. Print direct to printer option

Note: For Red lines to cut they must be drawn as fine lines :!: If the lines have a thickness then they will be treated as grey and rastered.

To cut along a Vector Blue line it must also be a Fine line. If the line has a thicknes it will be raster cut and not cut as a vector :!:

On XP machines, select

Start
Printer and Faxes
and select VL300 as the default printer

Then when the drawing is complete in Techsoft just select the PRINT option
