Versa Laser will not start up

All the usual have been checked, fuses, power, USB etc
Reply from ULS in the USA
Disconnect the 2 small wire lead from the transformer.
Doing this loses the start up menu on the screen, but makes the control buttons on the Versa Laser software screen and Laser its self active.
Awaiting a response from Versa Laser as what to do next
