Denford LATHE ATC - drill holders

Hi,

Does anyone know the name or style of drill holders the denford lathe ATC takes? I have one, which I could copy, but I'd rather look to see if I can buy them. They sit on the face of the ATC, and fit into a round hole held in by a couple of grub screws.

Any help knowing what I am looking for would be great!

Thanks

I ended up making them for my starturn 5, bit of bar turned to the required OD, drilled to fit the various drills. filed a flat on one side for the grub screw to tighten on, My initial one I slit so when I tightened up the grub screws it would tighten on the bit. This didn't work.. the bits would move. The revised version I fitted grub screws to the holders.

There is a drawing of an ATC on here somewhere with all the dims.

Thanks - thats a shame, but expected. Interesting that the slit wasn't effective. Did the second attempt put the grub screws straight onto the drill bit?

The tool holders I made have 2 grub screws (I think it was 19 OD bar x 20mm) when screwed in they are just under the OD of the bar/holder for a 10mm drill. They screw directly against the side of the drill or boring bar. The grub screw in the ATC screws against the side of the tool holder. IT was a bit of 'fun' getting it right for the boring bar.

When I tired the slotted method even with the grub screws in the ATC as tight as I could get them the drill got pushed out the back f the holder!

The ones we fit now are turned to 19mm with the appopriate hole through the centre & 2 grub screw hole . The grub screws clamp on to the tool.
