I'm updating an orac with acorn cnc. I've got the spindle running off the IMO Jaguar CUB using a couple switches and a 10K pot. I'd like to try to connect this into the Acorncnc. The 10K pot is connected across pins 1 and 3 and the wiper is connected to pin 2. Can I just connect the analog output directly to two of the pins of the Jaguar Cub? I tried to wire the acorn up to pins 1 & 2. I was still operating the run/stop with a manual micro switch. I ran the spindlebenchtest.cnc while connected to see if the spindle would change at each voltage check. It was running slow at the first check and then sped up at the next check. Next checks seem to remain the same speed. I'm going to call this a semi success. I get the feeling I might have to break down and buy a newer VFD like the ones I see people using but I'm going to try to use this one while I attempt to get the stepper motors figured out.
