Novaturn spindle speed unstable

Post by torleifj » Thu 05 Nov , 2009 23:59 pm

Hi.

I finally got my Novaturn (DOS/FLSTEP) up and running. It was 100% strightforward, so I have no excuses for not having done it a year ago except time. Being an absolute novice with the Novaturn, I don't know what to expect, so I have 2 questions:

At 100RPM, the spindle speed is unstable, it oscillates between 90RPM and 110RPM. Is there a setting, I should know about?

When I press spindle CCW, nothing happens. Is this a problem with my Novaturn, or is that the way they are? Or is it an option, a relay or something?

Best regards,

Torleif.

The spindle speeds normally flucutate slightly at low rpm up to around 250 rpm. Try running at higer rpm`s to test it.

The spindle on the Novaturn will only run in one direction.
