Novamill Control system.

Hi.

After wanting a nice little CNC mill I happend across a Novamill at a very reasonable price. So I couldn't say no.
Now it doesn't have the control box at all. Which I thought is no big issue as it I doubt the board would work easily with a modern PC and it may be getting sketchy after 20 years + anyway.

So there are a few basic details of things I'm trying to find out while I wait for delivery.

Stepper motors.
I have some experience with steppers and it would seem a normal driver would be fine.
My question is what voltage and amperage are they?
I think the Z is higher power than the X Y from what I have found out so far.

I think the spindle speed control wont be to much of an issue as RS do a nice controller for that rated at 12A DC output and a higher voltage.

The 42 pin plug on the side. I understand its a standard one made by Harting. But does anyone know what exact model? There are rather a lot.

I haven't decided on a control board yet. Or if I will make it an independent control without a PC attached.

Thanks for the help.
