Am using software version 2.25
Serial no of machine 30129
It changes tools in software _ screen changes tool number and offset number
Have a flashing red led 5 flaches then repeats this happens as soon as spindle contact pulls
in. If push reset button on card flahing stops but still no joy.
All fuses seem ok
Thank you

Hi,

Apparently that is not proper serial no. This is a Mirac GSM type. We need the correct number to identify the toolchanger. Could be a Baruffaldi ?

It sounds as though the jumper on the GSM control card is missing.
Has the toolpost worked before?

There is a bank of about 7 sets of pins running vertically just below the centre of the main LCB3 card.
I can`t remember exactly but it rings a bell that it is jumper 5 ( may be jumper 2) that is required to select a automatic tool changer.

Yes the toolchanger was working before

However I have had to make a new floppy disk for the machine as it has

no hard drive in it and the floppy disk drive stopped working
Have attached photo of board as not sure where jumbers are.
This board to my knowledge not been touched

Thanks

The record sheet for the Mirac serial number 30129D shows that it is fitted with a LCB3 control card & a Baruffaldi TOE80 6 station toolpost.
It states that the software version sent out was TOE80 V2.11. which seems strange. I am unable to locate the option file for this machine.
Is it possible to coppy the mirac.opt from one of the earlier discs?
I have attached a photo of where the links are on the LCB3 board but it does sound more like a software issue.

I have managed to locate an option file for a Mirac with the same TOE80 6station toolpost fitted.

I presume it will be the following lines that will be missing from you’re opt file.

mintool 1
maxtool 6
TCTYPE 2

Hi tractorman, just compared the two .txt files you posted and they are both identical.

In case anyone else has this issue, can you clarify what you changed - did you have to remove the Open bracket in front of TCTYPE 2 ?
