X drive belt specification Micro-router

Post by dbohm » Mon 03 Mar , 2014 17:07 pm

I was hoping you guys could help me out.

Old Microrouter 2001 vintage, serial number 00096.

X axis drive belt stretched. I need to purchase new one. First, is this imperial or a metric belt? Approximate circumference 1m or 39 5/8th's. Number of teeth 200, width .225'' or close to 6mm.

Belt has written on it T5-1000 0697

Assuming its metric?

Thanks for any help...wanna get back to cuttin' :D

I figured it out. Should have noticed right away. T5 is a spacing standard and 1000 refers to MM. So its a T5 belt, 1m long and 6mm wide.
