Adding Mist Sprayer to Micromill

Post by MadeForThat » Wed 18 Sep , 2019 14:58 pm

Another addition to my little machine. I purchased a little mist cooling system off of amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KR ... UTF8&psc=1 Simple Unit, and there are much cheaper versions, but i wanted to have full control of it when the cabinet door was closed. It has a knob for both air and oil adjustment, and the ability to add as much length as I need. This thing doesn't really have a nice way to mount it , unless you don't mind seeing it. I mind, so I went through a lot of effort to get it mounted with the other controls. I printed a mount to cradle it, and to allow me to screw through the 2nd layer of the front panel. this means that the front panel that you can see will not have any extra fasteners visible. I still have not cut the front panel, but that will get done soon. I intend to have a solenoid control connected to the controller, so that the coolant button actually does something ;) I have not done much research on that, but I think the control box has an extra relay that I can use for this.

Thanks TDI, I would do flood if it wasn't so much work lol. After doing all this, I'm not sure it really would have been much more! perhaps The novaturn will get the flood treatment.... it has the perfect container for it
