Techcenter21 Where to start?

So I am a young technology teacher in Colorado. I have just taken over a classroom with a plethora of old equipment that has not been used in about ten years. Although I have a fair bit of experience with solid modeling and three dimensional printing my electronics skills are lacking.

In my classroom I discovered a Techcenter21. The machine is still attached to the Windows 2000 machine that it was originally set up with. I located the key was able to get the computer to recognize the machine. However, the CNC is unresponsive when sending commands from the CNC software.

I am wondering if the problem is as simple as a missing power cable. The machine has one power cable on the rear right hand side and a similar port on the left side. Where would you go to start the troubleshooting process?

Thanks,

The Rookie.

It should be a Micromill.

The socket you have in the picture is the robot port. The only power it should need is the 110volts kettle plug.

What version of VRMilling are you connecting with?
Does the machine move to the home position?

Can you check Fuse F1 on the Denstep control board.
If it has blown then check the drive transistors on the right for damage.

I would also check around and see if you can find the original software. If not follow the link below and back up the flash licence
