Microturn 2000 issues.

Post by 9080456 » Thu 13 Feb , 2014 22:19 pm

Hey guys. I am fixing a microturn 2000 for my school. and I'm having issues. I have the software/activation floppy for the lathe. Now I would use the software that came with the lathe but I don't have a working floppy drive. I'm wondering if mach3 will work for the lathe (I'm using a 25 pin serial connector to connect between the lathe and computer). If mach3 will work I was wondering what the configuration for the lathe ports & pins would be. If not, is there a software that will work? If anyone can help that would be much appreciated!
