VR TURNING v1.13.2.425
Description of problem:
The lathe is not working properly. The X axis is stuck going up. When homed, it went down, then started going up and never stopped until it got stuck. Also, now when homing it, when going in the Z direction, it makes a loud noise before getting the the zero point. If I hit the O switch, it starts going to the left and doesn’t stop unless I hit the emergency stop switch.

What machine is named after "Virtual Reality CNC Turning - ???"
Are the two home switches OK?
Check the wire leads to the switches for cracked/ broken leads.
Vacuum out around the switches and use compressed air to blow any debris out.
Oil may have seeped into the switch(es) and has built up on the contacts.
Check the switches with a volt/ohm meter. the switches are normally closed (NC). You should hear/feel the contacts click when they are opened and closed.
When the machine is homed, the axis move towards the switch, when the axis pushes on the switch, the contacts open and the axis slowly moves away from the switch until the contacts close. The machine is at home position.
You may need to replace the home switches and the connectors to the switches.
