Micromill 2000 Year 2002

Post by illmakemyown » Tue 18 Mar , 2008 5:02 am

I just bought a Denford Micromill 2000 year 2002. Can anyone tell me where I can get the right manuals for this machine. Will Mastercam v7 work to program this machine? Also what is the round plug on the left side towards the rear for? Here some pics so you know what i am talking about. Thanks

I think the round plug may be I/O for somthing like a Robot or PLC to control the opening / closing of a vice and to control the starting / stopping of the Mill by a remote input

Graham is correct the port has a busy output and a cycle start input.

You should be using VR milling 2.

The AES software is several versons out of date as curriculum was written for them and they did not want to update it.

Upgrade to the lattest VR Milling 2 and the manual will be on the CD download :D :D
