Microturn E-Stop problem

This problem only happens when running a program in Auto.
When the E-Stop is pressed, the spindle & stepper motors shut down like normal, but the program keeps running in the Editor window, the coordinates for X & Z keep running in the Control Panel, NO E-Stop error pops up on screen and E-S-T-O-P is cycling thru the LED Display on the control card. If you release the E-Stop and turn the key, the machine & spindle will start right up and continue the program.

Installed a new Nextmove card, 2 different computers, reloaded software and tried different USB cables - same problem.

In Jog the E-Stops works normally, E-Stop error pops up and the Home tab returns.

Any ideas on what to look for?
