(1008 spindle drive)

Post by jons » Sun 08 Feb , 2015 19:44 pm

Hi
I have a 1990 cyclone that is causing a few problems when i try and use the spindle in mdi S2000 M3 G97 it happens instantly(1008 spindle drive) I have written a program ramping up to 2000 rpm (100 rpm increments with 5 second dwell) and it gets up to 1200-1800 rpm before the error
I’m suspecting it is because i’m using a rotary phase converter ? 11kw transwave made in 2001
any help appreciated.
regards

just to update

I spoke to Denford and yes very nice people but no help

spoke to Transwave who make the converter, very helpful, tested the phases and getting 420-460 volts at the cyclone

When the 1008 alarm comes up the jaguar cub cd220 inverter shows the error code Et (guessing external trip) hopefully getting a manual today

so will update
