I've put some pages from the maintenance manual here, about this alarm:
viewtopic.php?f=15&t=2638

I would recommend you check out all the supply voltages, circuit breakers, contactors etc.. are all working and wired securely.
The led on the drive may give a clue to what the problem is

Dear Sirs,
Instead of going forward with my trouble shooting i m going backward.
A person who came to fix my machine with the errors 401, 414 424, actually ended up fumbling with the wire which goes to the battery and i dun know he switched it off or something and now the parameters are gone.

Mr Black8228 or ALAN was kind enough to give me his parameters which starts from N0001 to N075 then N0900 to N0919

But the 8000 parameters are missing, plz plz plz help me out with wat shod i do.
I am getting the alarm number 100, 417 and 427.
I dun have the manual. PLz make me understand every step that i shod do as i m the biddest jerk on this planet.

8000 parameters are for the servo motors, you put the correct type in one parameter, reset a bit and all the rest get filled in "magically"

eg set 8020 to say, 9 for the X axis if you had a type 5 motor
set 8120 to 9 for the Z axis
then I think you just have to set 8000 and 8100 to 0 in order for DGPRM to see that you want the other parameters filling in.
you may also have to set 8001(X) and 8101(Z) to determine the ppr(encoder pulses) of the servo motors

Dear Sir one more question before i try to punch in something.

My motor type written is A06B.

And the 8 thousand parameters are starting from 8100 to 8279.

Where are these 8020 and other 80-- ?

Secondly when i try to enter the 900 parameters some of them even after entering doesnt change?

Ok it must be 81xx for the X axis motor parameters and 82xx for the Z motor
ie, insert 1 after the 8 for the 1st axis etc... I thought it was 0 for X and 1 for Z

There will be a motor model type written on it...see picture

About the 900 parameters - maybe some won't change until others have been set :?:

Thankyou Mr Alan for being kind enough to send me the 8000 parameters, i punched them in and atleast the machine is back to live.
The spindle is running and the turret is moving manually. And there are no alarms showing now. Only when the turret moves it gives me 410 servo alarm.
And also that the slides aint moving now and the diagnostic bits are not changing when i try to change them.
I think the X and Z axis limits are also not correctly set now as if i try to move the motor belts they immediately give me overtravel alarm.
P.S the motors are able to move when the machine is on, i feel they are not charged yet and that they shod be stuck.

PLz help. I think atleast i got to where i was before.

Hello Denford Admin and other experts, i need some more help
from u guys.

My machine is back to life. The axes are moving, they r doing Zrturn. Spindle runs fine and the turret also moves
manually from the knob given outside. But now the problem remains that as i told you it doesnt have any control knobs outside on the panel to go to handle, mdi stuff,
but has a builtin control panel which displays itself when AUX button is pressed.

Firstly, the mdi, handle, X Y display doesnt show up when AUX button is pressed.
And secondly in mdi when a tool change command is given the turret seems NOT to read it and does everything else except reading anything abt the turret.

Now i do have the parameters from Mr Alan but still i dun know which concerned numbers are to be fumbled with.

Please ppl help me out with this one.
All the alarm LEDS from the drive card and motherboard r gone.

I wod like to think that i m near to get it operational .

Regards.

Try http://www.fanuccnc.co.uk for official Fanuc support, or http://www.pennineuk.com/ for spares and possibly 2nd hand manuals...
