WE HAVE THE FOLLOWING ERRORS ON A FANUC CYCLONE AND IT WILL NOT RUN
400 SERVO ALARM : (OVERLOAD)
414 SRVO ALARM :X AXIS DETECT ERROR
424 SERVO ALARM Z AXIS DETECT ERROR
NOT READY ALARM
DIAGNOS 720 11000100
ANY IDEAS ?
Fanuc Cyclone 400, 414 and 424 error alarms

Not sure on the cyclone what drive is fitted but.
720 bit 7 the LH bit means OVL An overload alarm has ocured. 720 bit 6 (the second in from the left) is IV A voltage shortage has occured. and finaly bit 2 the 3rd in from the right is An alarm of the regenerative discharge unit has occured.
I would check if the drive is a dual axis drive as both drives have the same fault. Check if there are any fuses on the drive.
Is the fault there at power up? Or do the axes try to move then trip out?
It is most probably a fault on the Drive board.

Just for reference:
Fanuc axis Diagnostic no 720-723 are axis error bits - one for each axis up to 4 (ie 720=X axis 721=Zaxis):
bit 0 (right hand side): overflow alarm (OFAL)
1: wire disconnection alarm (FBAL)
2: regen discharge unit alarm (DCAL)
3: overvoltage alarm (HVAL)
4: an improper current alarm (HCAL)
5: excessive current alarm (OVC)
6: voltage shortage alarm (LV)
7: overload alarm (OVL)
