Re: new jaws
Mine was fitted with a Pratt Burnerd 125mm chuck with the same dimensions that you have.
I need hard jaws also, I found these on ebay...

I bought a nice new two piece jaw chuck for mine from cutwel for just over £300

do you or anyone know the taper on the spindle which locates the backplate for a chuck ?

Re: new jaws
The data for the Cyclone here viewtopic.php?f=33&t=3823 says the spindle is A2 3" and some data here about the dimensions https://www.lathes.co.uk/spindlenose/spindlenoses.pdf . From memory the taper is 1 in 4 on diameter but worth a bit of simple trigonometry to check against the taper shown.

Re: new jaws
Could possibly be a Bison/Toolmex chuck, if you measure one of your jaws up, length, width, slot and screw pitch and go to the Rotagrip site there is a fair chance you will find the right jaws for your chuck, I got all my stuff from them when I had my 2 Cyclones a few years ago. Link here :-
