Hi,

Is there a maintenance guide for Compact 1000? I have being milling for almost a 1000 cars. Only did general vaccum and lubricant.

Anything that we need to take note? Anything that we need to take a part to clean, in order to prolong the machine life?

Hi, Bradders.

I have this doc. I am looking for Maintenance Guide as for Authorised Router Motor Service Station. My closest one should be Denford direct, as I am in Singapore.

I am providing support for Singapore customer.

The main thing is to keep it clean and lubricate the slideways and screws.
There is nothing more to do than what is specified in the Operators manual (Page 30)

Thank you for your information.

Am I right to say that we can ignore those area that we can't reach and we would not need to unscrew any parts to lubricate it?

This is the kind of question that my local teachers and lab assistants like to ask.

You should not need to strip anything down unless you have a problem.

The only thing that could do with maintanance is the Spindle motor. Removing this from the machine and cleaning it out with a vacuum or airline is a good thing to do.

Also cheching the wear on the brushes is a good idea. It is better to replace these before they cause a problem.
