Importing into 2D Design

Post by egcd » Thu 24 Oct , 2013 11:27 am

Trying to import DXF files into 2D Design, some work, some do not!
Error message "unexpected data format. Invalid value".
Is there a particular format of DXF files that 2D Design prefers?

Thanks,

Chris.

I always try to use autocad V13 if there is an option.

What program are you generating the DXF files in?

The file are ones I have been sent or ones downloaded off places like thingiverse.
I have Draftsight into which I can always open the files, I will try saving as Autocad V13 from there and then re-importing into 2D Design.
Thanks.

Whoops - don't appear to have that option in Draftsight!
