Install Techsoft 2Ddesign to a network drive

i.e. P:\2Ddesign

Install Denford extensions to the same network drive

This puts a file BWCC.DLL in the windows/system directory of the machine you install from – copy this file into the network drive directory where the Denford extensions are installed.

Map students own directories to the same drive letter as they logon – i.e. U:\

Open the file 2ddes.ini in the network directory in notepad
Under [Files] set
InitialDrawingsDirectory=U:\
This is where the student’s drawings will be saved.

Under[Links] set
DenfordDataDirectory=U:\
This is where the generated machining files will be saved.

Rights Read/Write access to students directory – i.e. U:\
Read access to program directory – i.e. P:\2Ddesign


Work Station Set-up

Drag and drop link to 2Ddes32 in the server directory onto the desktop

Open Win.ini and add at the end
