Solution:
This has been seen in the field in France on PCs running French Windows 2000.
The problem is due to the decimal seperator in regional setting being set to a comma
To fix the problem, change setting...

Control Panel -> Regional Settings -> Number -> Decimal Symbol

From a comma ',' to a point '.'

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.

On my version of XP (SP3) you get to it slightly differently:

start > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Customise > Decimal Symbol

This problem also effects some of our other software

This has also caused problems with the material library in QuickCAM 2D.
See picture for regional settings screens from Control Panel.
