Denford TDS/35/U1P

Post by noel1982 » Fri 28 Dec , 2012 22:45 pm

I have a rather old Denford milling machine (manufactured in 1986). The model is TDS/35/U1P. I am looking for the manual and parts list. Can anyone help me on this?

Thanks

It's not a number I recognise, can you post a picture ?
It may be worth looking at the Senior and Easimill section to see if they are similar:

The U1P was the imported and re-badged mill that I understand the Easimill was based on.

There definitely was a manual for these in the old DO, and I thought there was a scan of it on here somewhere - possibly in one of the Easimill threads.
Don't recall if there was a full parts list - there certainly won't be any component drawings as they were neither designed nor built by Denford.

A bit more searching - manual for a T1P is here:
http://www.denfordata.com/pdfs/T1P-Turr ... achine.pdf

There is a thread on V1P machines here
with a link to the manual and parts list for those machines.

I'm guessing 'U' in U1P stood for Universal, whereas 'T' stood for Turret and 'V' stood for Vertical?

A photo or two would certainly aid identification - and add the the Denford history archive!
