Post by gboult » Mon 15 Feb , 2010 10:13 am

I have just purchased a Viceroy Lathe that is ex a school, it as been robed and vandalised, it is a Metric TDS1/1/G serial number 24133, I need a cross slide nut and all of its fittings ( I do not have a parts list so I do not know what the group consists of ) all that I have is the threaded drive part. I also need small parts that have been stolen as follows.
Tail stock Quill locking handle.
Cross Slide handle.
Knobs a full set I believe there are about six all together.
Machine Handbook and a parts list.
Please can anyone help.
Regards George Boulton :3D:

PLEASE CAN ANYONE SUPPLY A CROSS SLIDE NUT, NEW, USED, OR A SCRAPPED LATHE. CAN ANYONE MAKE ME A NUT. I will pay good cash for the right item.

Found a man who will make cross slide nuts, and any other nut to supplied drawings, so I am fixed.

George
Just thought I would mention a complete metric Viceroy on Ebay at the moment.
4 Hours to go, and going for next to nothing up to now.
It's in Northampton. ( It's not me selling it)
You will probably never find the parts that you want, so if you want a Viceroy.....

Hi David
Many thanks I missed it, any chance that you may know if a Boxford cross slide nut might fit ( even if it needs some modification ) or Please does anyone have a new or used item for sale, or is there any person or company that would make me a cross slide nut.
Regards George

Hello David,

I have a spare Denford TDS that I am using for spares and might be able to help. Send me a PM to discuss.

Kindest regards, John R.
