Classified Rules and Regulations

Post by Denford Admin » Thu 17 Jan , 2008 14:45 pm

This section is purely for new or old Denford / Viceroy / Versalaser related equipment.
Any items not falling into the these categories will be removed - please use your common sense
If you think a Denford / Viceroy / Versalaser user will be interested in your item, then it will probably be ok....

Denford machines eg, Easimills, Triacs, Oracs
Denford relevant machine tooling or accessories
Denford manuals (although we would encourage users to share these in the download section)
PC hardware or software related to Denford equipment, eg BBC micros, hardware dongles, Orac tape drives etc..

The software sold by Denford is licensed to the User who purchases it. The licence is non transferable.

We accept that some customers do buy machines second hand and run the software they were supplied with the machine. The flash licence on the software is the protection telling who the legal owner of the software is. We accept this in good faith and would expect that customer to abide by the licence terms and not resell the software. (If the software stays with the machine it was supplied with then that is acceptable)
While you may have a copy of software supplied with the machines you bought second hand, the software is licensed to the school that purchased it and not you. As long as it is being used with the machine that it was sold with, we will accept this use.

Selling current Denford Software is not acceptable on this forum

Denford turn a blind eye to 2nd hand machinery being supplied with the original software, even though it will violate the license agreement.
However, QuickTurn2D is a new, current product and no-one will be able to sell you a copy without breaking the agreement which appears, and is agreed to, when installing all our software:

Quote:
