Newbie alert. As the title - is there a simple way of downloading an image - a black and white line drawing - and changing it to red so it cuts out? I'm thinking logos etc rather than complex drawings.
I'm very new to graphic design programs so be gentle!

Thanks in advance!

I think it will come down to the graphics program you are using.
If you post up what you have access to then people may be able to respond better.

With most programs you can select a colour and replace it with another, so you would need to be able to select which lines you want to replace.

Thanks for the reply,

We currently only have access to adobe photoshop, 2ddesignv2, and prodesktop 8, (which I am struggling with as its hardly intuitive!)

Trying to persuade the Headteacher that we need something else to make it easier for students to access - Coreldraw?

I can do it in Adobe if the student has drawn the image as the layers are separate, but I'm obviously missing something obvious as I cant seem to get it to change the black lines to red on downloaded images.

:)

where are you? Ive used ProD 8 and Techsoft 2D for years now.

Can you attach one of the images you want to work with, Ill have a go with 2D, my wife is great with Photoshop so between us we should be able to wok something out and I can post back how to do it.

You will need to convert the line to a hairline. The line needs to be 0.001 inches or 0.025mm thick.
