FanucMD for Triac machines has been added to downloads

I take it the rapid move does work ?

If it does then try turning off feed per rev mode (G99 to G98) and put in say a feed of F200

If all else fails - update to the latest version - I seem to think there where some similar problems a long time ago with the software.

A mistake I've made myself a few times  - the Feedrate is not set until the next block (N80) - if you ran another program that set the feedrate up, it would probably work then. Try putting an F1.5 on the end of N70 Z-0.5 I've also been caught out with feed per rev mode as well (G99) where I've...

When disconnecting or turning off the versalaser with the PC still on, it sometimes loses connection and will not find the laser again.

You are best to turn off the machine and PC, make sure everything is connected, then turn the machine back on, then let the PC find the USB connection again.

If you hover the mouse over the box at the bottom of the tool or offset pages, then it tells you where your tool file is coming from.

There are a couple of INI files QuickCAM4D writes to: C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Denford (this is true for the latest version v1.6 which can be downloaded from our website) However , these files DON'T have to be present to run the software. The initialisation problem must be...

I think the best place to start looking would be www.ebay.co.uk (if you haven't already looked there)

A guy on ebay took a lot of our old stock of collets and chucks etc.. - try him:

Alan, Can you cut and paste the program into the forum - or is it classified ? When you say wont run the full length of the specimen - is that in the X or Y axis ? Not knowing the machine or control software, I can only guess: 1. Could the Y axis be scaled somehow ? 2. Could the Y axis stepper be st...

There has also been an issue where the control type would not automatically change and scan for a matching controller. For latest firmware (eg 5216) the control type should be 9 For older firmware (eg 5035) the control type should be 7 This is true for version 2 and version 5 VR Milling PS - Control...

Have a look at the thread "Orac serial connection" - I believe the Orac would be the same vintage hardware as your Triac.

Also see whats on our website (technical support) to download for the older machines (look under DOS software - no longer supported)

Hi,

As have have used a few different types of turret over the years, can you get some more details of the make and model ? - Some have name plates on them.

If we know which one we are talking about, we can see what further info we can find.
