I have come accross a problem that when attempting to print to the Versalaser the software starts to set up Microsoft Office 2000 instead of opening the VersaLaser print screen.

I think that some of these replys relate to other Control types that Denford fitted. The M27 only works on the later machines. The machine Pab has is fitted with a NEE PNC3 control system. I am sure that when we powered one up that we only had to set the Dip switches in order to set it up. The toolc...

The PNC3 Triac used spindle orientation when performing tool changes, & therefore has a "v" on the top of the bar to assist with alignment. In the UK we now remove all the drive dogs from the spindle nose & ATC arm. Then the inverted "v" attached to the Brower unit can be removed. The circular block...

Hi Pab,
What is wrong with your DRAW BAR???
Have you managed to remove it.

Triac Drawbar
Hi Pab, It sounds like you now need to strip the spindle down to investigate further. To do this you need to remove the brower unit from the top of the spindle. You will then see a nut/collar inside the top of the spindle which you need to unsrew. There may be a grub screw locking it in position. Be...

Hiya Pab. It sounds like the stoke of the cylinder is too short. You will need to check the level of oil inside the brower unit. In order to look you need to remove the top silver cap off the unit. There is a area just below where the air pipe plugs in that you can get a spanner on & unscrew it. Ins...

It may be something as simple as the pnuematic pressure to the cylinder or the oil level insider the cylinder. The air pressure needs to be between 80-100psi depending on when the machine was built. I would suggest that you set it at 100psi. The oil level in the cylinder is a bit more tricky, but a ...

The best way to tell the actual speed is to measure directly from the spindle using a tachometer.
It appears that E-Bay has lots of digital tachometers for around £20.
Good luck.

Re: Denford ZeroCentre Max rpm
On the Zerocentre we never used\set the gear ratio on the spindle pulleys. ONLY PARAMETER 540 WAS SET. It may be that you need to set the speeds up as Andy is saying if you want to use the second ratio.
If you change to the other ratio then I guess you need to set Parameter 540 to the new speed.

Hi, It sounds like you are running DOS software. You need to place the program on a disc or copy it to the hard disc drive if there is one. Next load the program as normal. You will get a message saying that the program is too large. from there if you press reset the program name will change in the ...
