Make sure the X axis stepper motor timing belt pulley, is securely fastened to the stepper motor shaft. via the imperial Allen screw on the pulley, if its slack you get backlash which can cause the double image.

In FANUCMD DOS software

when I type a line of code. (N110 G90 G00 X10 Y10 Z-1 )

It comes up with a error that says. Prefixes not needed and the cursor high lights on the G of G00

Your teach pendant is for the RV-2AJ Robot, the one i up loaded is for the older RV-M1 Robot

I have not heard ot the Robo Explorer Program.
The NST button is on the RV-M1 teach pendant.

I have never programmed the RV-2AJ with Melfa IV Programming language. Originally we used the older RV-M1 Robots in our CIM Systems and I used the Move Master command language, when i found i could use it with the RV-2AJ i did not bother to learn the Melfa IV Programming language. I'm not sure what Z phase resetting is on a RV-2AJ, because it has absolute encoders on each axis, which should retain the axes positions when the robot and controller are switched off, But as the batteries expired i presume all this data have been lost, but i can find no mention of Z phase resettin...

Hi, Don't forget you have 2 x RV-2AJ robots, are you inputting the right data in the right robot ? I think the origin setting data was on labels stuck onto the robot control box.
