I'll measure the thread on my synchro this weekend for you William. I will be able to give you the pitch but I don't know much about the forms used though having th epitch is a start. When I get a motor I could try to turn you a thread.

Posting here in case someone has done a conversion from 3-phase to single, or has a single-phase motor lying around.

My 280synchro is 3-phase but I want to convert it to single phase. Reading here I see that some were supplied with single-phase motors and this is what I am looking for.
