Re: How to view Up! G-code?

I don't know if how you get to see the file it produces.

I guess it all depends on the size of the heater which in turn will allow more or less material to be melted & the feed rates then calculated from that.

Re: Triton pro questions - need help

The DC Sprint drive will does not have a reverse input so you will need to add a spindle reverse relay & invert wires 9 & 11. Make sure the spindle is not running when you change direction though.

Re: bt 30 release tool adjustment

The oil level should be to the top of the 1/2 inch hole.

The springs are tensioned with a tool up the spindle. the Lower nut needs to be set 11mm below the top of the shaft. The top nut is then set flush with the top of the shaft.

Re: bt 30 release tool adjustment

Have you checked the oil level in the cylinder?

You can take the top off & lift the cylinder out which gives access to the tube that should be full.

You could try adjusting the Stability pot on the Sprint 1200 spindle drive.

Re: help please

If you right mouse click on the orange banner in EasyUpgrader when you are connected then go to Advanced, (password is "dave") you can change the machine type. You may need to set it to Unknown.

Re: 4th axis

I think you have to set the orientation in Machine Capability.

IV axis - A,B,C, (1,2 or 3) we normally position it on the X axis & set it to 1.

Re: help please

It is only the SmartStep/DenStep top board that needs the VR EPROM

If you put the original EPROM in the NextStep board are you able to detect the control using Denford Easy Upgrader?

Have you installed the Baldor USB Driver?

Have you selected Novaturn NS?

Re: help please

Where are you located?

In order to run VR CNC Turning you will need a VR Eprom version 2.0 or 2.1.

Also I don`t think the RS232 lead you have shown in one of the pictures is correct.

The Emergency Stop Relay is the relay directly to the left of the Sprint 400 spindle drive.

It looks like you have 3 different directory's for the software All the files should be in the same one.

Re: Fanuc Triac - ATC Problem

I don't think it is correct.

I always thought the stoke lengths are 100mm for up/down & 150mm for in/out.

I don't think we have any information on that either.

We used to return them to Baldor for repair.

You can run EasyUpgrader which is on the VR CNC Install disc to set what machine type is connected.
