USB and VR Milling v5 (the latest, I think)
I've restarted everything (of course) but need some idea where to troubleshoot.

PS: It's 'growling' a bit (would this make a difference?); tomorrow it's getting lubed to the hilt as per the manual!

Novamill hangs
Our Novamill has started stopping. Just hanging there, mid-cut. The control panel of VR milling disappears, and the XYZ stops, and the spindle just stays still cutting the same bit of air till a person has to intervene. It's done it several times today, but never before.

Thanks for the prompt info; the 'i' button certainly saves some time with regard to identifying issues before they are machined. Perhaps this issue is more to do with Quickcam Pro? The model size is 230mm, and 8mm is added to Extend Model Boundary. This would surely equate to 246mm? With a max trave...

Hi y'all I have been stymied by a job that 'exceeds machine limits'. Exactly how far can the machine go? Judging by the data on screen in VRMilling it is 270mm for the Y axis. The piece I was cutting was 230mm diameter, with 'Extend Model Boundary' on QuickCam Pro 'Set Boundary Page' at 8mm for a 7m...
