You were right .ini did have a [FLASH] section but it was at the bottom of the page. We expected to find it at the top so over looked it.

Re: Triac VMC & VR Milling
I removed the soleniod caps and only the middle one seemed to be energising. As a test i put the middle one on the the end soleniod, the valve clicked and the air stopped venting, so i am guessing faulty solenoid caps or a fuse(s) somewhere?
What do you think?

Re: Triac VMC & VR Milling
It was working ok after the software upgrade and I was setting the offsets for the tools when the air started venting just out of the blue, then the atc dropped and i could get no further movement probably because it wasn’t building up enough pressure. How will inputting the mcodes work if there is ...

Re: Triac VMC & VR Milling
Unfortunately I did reconnect the pipes just in case, but its not blowing out of the fittings its actually coming out of the brass filter on the outside of the box. I just showed the pipes in the picture to show where the pipes went. I assume it was designed like this to allow air to escape in the e...

Re: Mirac auto toolchanger not working
I tried to find the licence in vrturning on the machine, but couldn't find anything, I am therefore unable to try the new version. Am I right in thinking this is usually the flash code in the vrturning.ini file? Is it possible that the licence is hard coded into the exe file in this version? The com...

Re: Triac VMC & VR Milling
Finally got the Triac up and running and then air started blowing out of the the box on the back.
Its not a leaking pipe, it is actually coming out of the end of the pipe as though a solanoid valve/pressure relief valve has gone or something?? Any ideas i have cirled it in the picture.

Re: Mirac auto toolchanger not working
When run in auto mode as continuous the tool change works perfectly, so at least we know it's working. However, running the same program in single step mode, the tool changer doesn't make any attempt to rotate. The egg timer comes on for a few seconds, then the information in the window updates to t...

Mirac auto toolchanger not working
Hi, We are trying to get a mirac lathe running again, however the auto toolchanger flatly refuses to operate. Everything else on the machine works. The software used is VR Turning and the machine parameter in the software is set to 2. Inputting a tool change command changes the tool number in the so...

Re: Quick Turn selecting wrong tool
Yeah i did this and it does finish with the left hand tool however it still roughs with the parting tool, which includes roughing around an arc which means sideways movement which pings the tip out. Surely it should do all the left hand processes roughing and finishing with the cutting tool?

Quick Turn selecting wrong tool
As an experiment we tried to turn a ball on the end of a bar. We have tool 1 set up with a right hand turning tool, tool 3 is a parting off/grooving tool and tool 5 is left hand tool. The problem is when we output the file quick turn selects the parting off tool to do the roughing that the left hand...

Lathe Cam Designer License File
Please can you tell me where i can find the location of the license file? When lathe cam starts it must look for the license file. Is there a config or ini file with the address of the file.
Basically we have a site license installed somewhere on the network but no one know where!
Thanks
