Re: Machine light problem - Triac VMC

I would check the cable from the lamp all the way back to the transformer you may have a short to earth that will not show up if there is a blown bulb.

Re: Machine light problem - Triac VMC

I think the light would have a 12V AC supply so is the bulb you used AC or DC? Did you check it with an AC supply?

Re: New machine - how to physically move the tool?

Does the machine move to the home position when you first connect it?

Go to the help menu and select the tutorial to cut a part with a single tool.

This will take you through how to set up the machine and move the axes to the datum position.

Re: QuickTURN / VR TURNING loading backed up tool offsets PROBLEM

I would download the latest version of Quick Turn 2D Design from our website. Uninstall the old version then reinstall the downloaded version. We had changed the location that the tool library was stored. Give me a call at Denford on Monday if you are still having problems. Steve Oddy

Re: QuickTURN / VR TURNING loading backed up tool offsets PROBLEM

The tool offsets and materials are stored in a hidden windows file that must have read write access for all users. C:\ProgramData\Denford If you make sure this folder and sub folders has read write access then the tool library and offsets can then be saved and changed as required. The second problem...

Re: Z Axis Backlash/play

Can you check to see if the movement is withing the nut or ballscrew mounting? When you pull it back and forward is the screw moving with the backlash or is the screw staying in the same position but the saddle moving? If the screw is moving then check the mounting bearings at the end of the screw.

Re: max rpm

Can you attach a photo of the serial number plate so we can identify the model. We may still have the test sheet here and could probably work out how the inverter was set.

Re: max rpm

The rated speed was 5000RPM though I would check the chuck fitted as this will normally have a rating engraved on it.

Re: Model Block Bore Size

The reason the bore size has been changed from 19mm to 18mm is to ensure cartridges are secure in the Model block while being raced. The decision was made standardise on the cartridge size and source a “Denford Power Pack” which would cost less than both the older Test and Race cartridges. The size ...
