Re: Maxirouter Emergency Stop Help

Post some pictures of the connections to the control card on the machine.

Does the X axis motor get warm when you power on the machine?

When you try to jog the axis is there any noise?

Does the position display change?

Re: Mirac PC connection issues

Hi, The problem sounds to be with the communication as suggested. As you had the machine running with the original serial cable I would stick with that. The seven segment display is lit so the controller is powered on correctly. Is there any chance the spindle motor had been overloaded? The gap betw...

Re: coil/thread design reversed

Can you check the 4th axis is running in the correct direction? This is the procedure to allow it to be checked. If it is going the wrong way then you need to switch one of the motor phase pairs round. In Jog mode index the 4th axis so the marker reads 0 then click the offset icon so the position re...

Re: Micro Router 2nd Hand

I would check that the USB ports are not set to go into power saving mode as this could be the problem. Also static is another big issue so if you are running extraction the dust down the vacuum hose can cause a discharge that would earth through the USB. Compressors can also be a problem when they ...

Re: 1300 Pro Z axis brake applied on rapid home or toolchange

John, I would also check the version of software you are using and make sure you have the latest. I don't think there will be an issue with the power. The brake is on the 24V DC rail and the steppers use a 63V supply so they would not effect that. In fact with stepper motors the load is higher when ...

Re: 1300 Pro Z axis brake applied on rapid home or toolchange

The machine stalled while making the rapid z movement. this could be for various reasons. Have you greased the machine rails as stated in the manual? Disconnecting the brake could be just a coincidence as I doubt that this is the issue. The brake needs to be connected otherwise the axes will fall wh...
