Re: FSSB Error?

All the parameters seem to be there.
I does look like it has to be referenced, but I think it is stuck on the Z+ limit.
How can I move it off the limit?

FSSB Error?

Re: BARRUFALDI TOE80,

There is one at the back too, you have to unscrew the motor and lift away from the turret casting to get at it.

Re: Spindle encoder fault

Opened up the encoder plug and it was full of coolant, looks like the seal broke down over time.
Cleaned it out, resoldered and now good as new. Thanks

Re: BARRUFALDI TOE80,

I have a couple of spares here that I made when I was having turret trouble.

I can send them to you if like, or if you would rather make them; I made them from nylon and they are 17mm diameter x 6.65mm long and I put a 1.5mm chamfer at one end.
If you open the front cap you will probably see that ...

Hi,
Looking for some advice on a Cyclone with Fanuc 21i control.
I have no RPM reading on the screen display.
The spindle will run at different speeds and the override works but the screen says 0rpm.
Been using the lathe in feed per minute mode instead, but have a load of screw cutting jobs coming ...

Re: TOE80 Turret Problem

I never unsoldered the encoder from the machine and have double checked if there is a short to that wire but can't see anything.
Got a feeling that the phot diode has died, someone is going to attempt a repair for me.

Please can you tell me if the control uses the parity bit?

Inside the turret box ...

Re: TOE80 Turret Problem

The above issue was solved b y cleaning oil out for the encoder.

Now the problem has come back, any tool change apart from to tool 1, the turret just spins infinitely.

The encoder has 4 pairs of photoemitter/photodiodes inside and slots for the on and off positions. All of the bits are as they ...

Mine was fitted with a Pratt Burnerd 125mm chuck with the same dimensions that you have.

I need hard jaws also, I found these on ebay...

Re: 1997 Triac VMC with BT30 ATC and Fanuc O-M control for Sale

The machine is located in Weymouth, Dorset but I can put on a pallet for delivery.

I have always either sent small programs to the control or dripfed via EasyDNC which can be bought for £100 iirc.
