Re: mirac dos and window98 era

you can copy the programm with external "dikette reader" from pc win7 and put it in w98 pc.
i do this and it work perfect.
denford mirac oct 1989 knew canned cycles (for exemple G71 G76 ) so you can use recent software correctly postprocessed with fanuc.

Re: Setting zero issues

hi pete happy you could turn a piece i 've got same trouble in the beginning. for the parting tool, you must choose another by "setting tool" with the tutor keypad. you find 2 or 3 mm possible. i think you can't change the "stop position " on the atc if it's the barufaldi like mirac. it's the caract...

hi do you know how change the thread pitch with lathecam ? in the manual you can see you have to alter value in lcd.ini, and it appears in lcd.ini then you do this before file generate, but the final thread still stay on the same pitch. for example, you can't do: diameter 30 mm, thread lookup 1 mm l...

Re: fanuc with mirac

thank martin
the idea is to know if it's possible to adapt a post pro for featurecam, mastercam, etc to work with a mirac.
unfortunately, denford don't sell softs if you're not a school.

Re: hello desk top trouble on mirac

thank for the prompt answer martin

i find:
db9 to db25 :

2 to 20
3 to 2
4 to 3
5 to 8
6 to 22
7 to 5
8 to 4

this seems different than your exemple, but i'm not shure if my cable is good or not,
did you think that i've to rebuild a lead like your example or not?
