I am also having issues with the spindle not running after a recent crash. These fuses are ok are they any others I've missed?

Yes fixed now. I re installed VR Milling v5 with the latest version this did the trick.
My spindle was also not working this was fixed with a fuse replacement.

Thanks for the kind offer problem solved. Don't know what went wrong but a re install with the newer VRM 5.7 and replaced a blown fuse on the spindle control board has done the trick.

No afraid not. I am now looking at options to upgrade the electronics and converting it to mach 3.

Hi Laurent. I realise this thread is many years old now but is this still an option?

After 20 years of working perfectly, I've just turned on the novamill to get a pop up stating the pc mint version is wrong and do i want to download another one, whichever option I pick, yes or no, it will not connect. I get another pop up with some suggested solutions which I've done with no luck ...

Hmm. It stops before all axis have reached home though, so this would be before the door unlocks? If I try the door it is still locked.

We have a Turn 270 which has worked fine for the last 5 years however it has now developed an intermittent fault. It runs fine, cuts out a part with a couple of tool changes in amongst parts off and heads to home. As X and Z head home they come to the meeting point ...

1 Drivers are installed.
2 I tried both machines from the select machine menu but didn't check they matched in the parameters. Hopefully it will be that. How do you know if its the NovaTurn or NovaTunNS or is it a case of try both and see?

Hi All. I am having an issue trying to connect to an upgraded to USB nova turn using VR turning. It seems it is still trying to connect using the RS232 and searching com ports rather than looking at the USB port. I am told it has worked previously so am I just missing a setting somewhere? Hi all.
I connect and can home the novamill but as soon as I try jog this pops up. The pots are inactive so cant just turn them up. Can anybody shed any light on it, I must just be overlooking something dead simple?
