Easiturn 3 No power

Hi I have a Easiturn 3, I was using it the other week, when the power just tripped out. I reset the power supply to the machine, and the auto toolchange unit came on, but the rest of the machine is dead. I check all the fuses in the control, is there any other fuses in the base of the machine I've m...

Re: Easiturn3 X axis cross slide miss positioning.

Hi David
I think it came down to taking out the small rapid moves and changing them to fast feedrate moves.

Not sure if all of these machines do the same thing, but this worked for me.
I couldnt find any fault with the x axis, all seem fine.

Re: Easiturn

Hi Bill I bought a Easiturn3 with auto tool changer about a year ago, its not a bad machine considering the age of them. But a few things that could be better, like the axis movement is not that smooth and seems to dwell between each movement. Screw cutting can only be cut once, if you try to re cut...

Electronic board repairs for PNC3 controls

Do anyone know where I can get a NEE PNC3 control from a Denford Easiturn3 repaired or replaced?

I have emailed, phoned and left message with North East Electronics but no reply are they still going?

Just checked the stuff you pointed out on the PLC, It was just a bit of the backing stuff from the mosfet above it. I have just notice that on the axis drivers interface board(the board the two drivers plug into) with the two large green LED's which you can only view from looking down from the top o...

Hi On either of the drive boards when in the Z axis slot light up green when first powered up. then when homing out, leds switch off. when home position is achieved the green led lights up (thats what the X axis is doing) This is not lighting up on the Z axis board because home position is not being...

I double checked the ribbon cable seems to be clip in fine at both ends. I swapped the drive boards over, no different, X axis homes out ok, no movement in the Z axis as before. I suppose thats one good thing drive boards are ok. I noticed while the machine is trying to home out the Z axis stepper m...

Hi Martin I have just checked what you have stated. I think the X axis is working ok. All the limit switches (4 off) and home sensors (2 off) seem to be work ok on the 'T' screen. when I powered up the control, the two drive boards have green leds on, all red leds are off. seems the Z axis is the on...

Hi
The easiturn was running fine, the next day, turn on and tried to zero machine out, X axis moves to home position (moves back and forth)
then nothing. screen states homing is in progress. Z axis does not move.

By pressing 'E' stop, shows up X axis error.

Right I have taken off the X axis drive belt cover and have turned the leadscrew, while the 'T' screen is showing. The datum senor seems to be working, show 0 or 1 as I wind the leadscrew in and out.
Could the error Im getting be the micro switch?

Thanks for everybodies input, I have got the tool changer working again!
